The recent reopening of HOME on the banks of Leeds’ river Aire marks a new chapter for the restaurant. Elizabeth Cottam’s new dining space is now located in one of the city’s most prominent and unusual buildings. Being circular, dining tables have been positioned around the kitchen drawing, in its guests, sharing the chef’s creative space and process with diners.
HOME serves ever evolving tasting menu experiences in a beautiful location overlooking the river. It and surrounding landscapes offer endless creative inspiration to the chefs, each dish tells a different story, using a poetic mix of tastes and colours.
The food style at HOME combines many influences from around the world, but primarily uses British ingredients from across the country, in particular from many amazing suppliers based here in Yorkshire.
The tableware, artwork and furniture central to the experience are the product of numerous collaborations between Elizabeth and various ceramists, designers, and artists.
