Daniel is our restaurant manager. We asked him to choose his current favourite wine.
"One of my favourite styles of wine is dry Riesling. I'm a huge fan of minerality and freshness - perfect for pairing with food, but don't get me wrong, equally as enjoyable on its own.
One of my preferred pours right now is a wine by Rudi Pichler, one of Austria's elite in the wine industry.
We're currently serving his Riesling Achleithen Smaragd as part of our Premium Selection with our vibrant pea dish.
It's a wine that focuses on elegant minerality, creating an almost effervescence on the palate, which when you first try the wine, is quite tantilising.
Really promoting those green flavours of the dish, we have fresh green apple and lime acidity. It's honestly a heavenly combination which must be experienced!"
