THE AUCTION WEDNESDAY 3RD MAY

The menu Somewhere Between the Sand and the Stardust was created by our chef patron Elizabeth Cottam. Her inspiration came from the artwork and poetry of her good friend Joshua Van Leader who tragically took his own life on November 4th 2022.

The artwork selected to hang on the walls at HOME accompanying the menu and the poetry books that contain the poems that the dishes were inspired by make up a collection of unique, authenticated artworks that will be auctioned on the 3rd May to raise funds for suicide prevention.

The collection available includes the actual, over sized prints from the walls of the restaurant and two other sizes of these artworks, five special edition presentation boxes containing all three of Joshua’s poetry books and five recycled perspex “spaceman’ menus All have been authenticated and offer the opportunity to own a very rare, unique and collectable artwork. These works will be available to attendees of our silent auction and dinner event on Wednesday May 3rd, starting at 7pm. Reservations can be made online.

for those to come.

Whilst we circle the sun and witness breathtaking gaseous nebulas, we watch supernovas from the years before and meteor showers within our blanket of skies.
How, that in our lifetime we watch such magnificent events unfold, and still doubt our own dreams?
